Eat What God Made: A 7-Day Reset for Your Mind, Body, and Spirit

There’s something I’ve come to realize about myself: my body doesn’t just prefer healthy foods, it needs them. When I eat the wrong things, it’s not just a little bloat or a sugar crash. It goes deeper than that. My mind starts racing, my emotions become unpredictable, I feel exhausted, and my body aches. It’s like my whole system falls out of alignment.

And yet, I still find myself reaching for the wrong foods.

Not because I don’t want to eat better. I actually enjoy nourishing meals. The issue for me is convenience. Processed foods are quick and easy. When I’m tired or overwhelmed, it’s so tempting to just grab what’s right in front of me. I fall into a cycle: I eat what’s convenient, feel terrible, want to change, but don’t have the energy or mental capacity to follow through.

Eventually, though, I reach a point where I can’t ignore the signs anymore. That’s where I am right now. I’ve had just a short stretch of eating the right foods, and already my mind feels clearer. My mood is lifted. My energy is coming back. And most importantly, I feel more spiritually in tune. I can hear from the Holy Spirit with greater clarity.

As I’ve been praying and asking what to write next, this message gently rose up in my spirit: Focus on the food. It felt like a nudge. A quiet reminder that this simple but powerful shift, eating the way God intended, can unlock so much healing and clarity.

So here’s my encouragement to you:

For the next 7 days, eat the foods God made. Fill your plate with whole, natural foods like fruits, vegetables, clean proteins, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and pure water. Try to avoid processed foods, added sugars, and artificial ingredients.

See what changes in your world.

Notice your mental clarity.

Your emotional stability.

Your energy levels.

Your connection with God.

This is not about being perfect. It’s about being intentional.

Your body is a temple. Treat it with the care it deserves.
